About Us 

Happy Soul began when the world shut down from COVID-19, forcing everyone to stay inside their homes indefinitely. It started in a downtown apartment complex with an itch to express creativity and an abundance of uplifting energy. The first Happy Soul product was bleached tie dye, each handmade with love. Connie, the founder, sold products with high hopes to spread positivity in fearful times. 

Connie’s best friend, Sachi, grew up in the beautiful paradise we all know as Oahu, Hawaii. Every annual trip together, without fail, they would search endlessly for the perfect timeless bikini. It was never found. Happy Soul swim evolved shortly after realizing that we had the opportunity to create that “perfect” piece. Our inspiration comes from what is lacking in our own closets.

Happy Soul swim is a sustainable swimwear brand founded in 2021 and based in Seattle, Washington. We began with the need for minimalistic suits that help women feel comfortable and confident in their own body. Our suits are handmade in Brazil and made of premium cruelty free textiles with high quality UV protection. Extra fabric used in production are made into dog beds, which are then donated to local shelters.

Happy Soul represents progression in self development, not perfection. We strongly believe that limited access to healthcare should not be a factor in someone’s happiness. We aim to work toward the goal of access for all. We’ve committed 5% of our proceeds to Project HEAL, a nonprofit focused on equal healthcare access for treatment of eating disorders.
